Best overall for data that changes: LPagery. Best for template logic: Page Generator Pro. Best for tens of thousands of URLs: Multiple Pages Generator (MPG). Best for AI agents over MCP: PageForge. Best for distance-based local pages: Magic Page Plugin.

A mass page generator, also called a bulk page generator or programmatic SEO plugin, takes one template page and a table of rows and creates one page per row. Typical uses are location pages, service area pages and "service in city" pages. The five plugins below all do that. They differ in where the rows come from, whether the result is a real WordPress page, and what happens when your data changes.

LPagery is our plugin, so read this list with that in mind. Nobody paid to be included. We bought each competitor at its paid tier in September 2026, installed it on a local WordPress 7.0 site with PHP 8.3, ran the same test data through it and read its code. Each entry links to a full comparison with the versions and test runs behind it.

Prices are left out on purpose: they change more often than features. Each vendor's pricing page has the current numbers. You can see all five side by side in our bulk page generator comparison.

How we picked and tested them

We looked for WordPress plugins that create one page per spreadsheet row from a template, with placeholders filled from the columns. Each product went through the same scripted first run, timed from login until the generated page returned HTTP 200 with the expected title. Facts we could not confirm in the code or a test run are marked with the version we looked at.

1. LPagery

LPagery is the best mass page generator when your data lives in a spreadsheet you keep editing. Rows sync from Google Sheets on a schedule, changed rows update their pages, removed rows can delete them, and a run keeps going after you close the browser tab. Any existing page can be the template, including its builder layout and SEO fields.

Generated pages are normal WordPress pages. They show up in the Pages list and in your SEO plugin's sitemap, and if you edit one by hand, LPagery detects that and keeps your edit on the next update. Live Mode is there when you want a template change to reach every page without a new run, for Elementor and Gutenberg templates. AI text and images per row come from LPagery AI, a separate app that syncs the pages to WordPress, and the paid plans include monthly AI credits for it, so you don't need your own API key.

Pros

  • Google Sheets synced on a schedule, with changed and removed rows handled
  • Any existing page as the template, with every post meta copied
  • Hand edits kept on update
  • Yoast SEO, Rank Math, SEOPress and All in One SEO fields filled
  • First page live in 6 clicks in our test
  • AI credits for LPagery AI included in paid plans

Cons

  • No conditional content inside the template
  • No Airtable or Notion source
  • The free plan caps a run at 100 pages and three placeholder columns on new installs

Free version: yes, on wordpress.org, with CSV and XLSX upload. Pro plans: Standard, Extended and Ultimate, on the LPagery pricing page. If you want to see the workflow first, our guide on how to bulk create pages in WordPress walks through it.

2. Page Generator Pro

Page Generator Pro by WP Zinc is the best choice when your template needs logic. It has been sold since 2014 and has the richest template language in this list: conditional blocks, fifteen keyword transformations, related-page lists ordered by distance, list multiplication for every city and service pair, and thirty-four page builder integrations. It also integrates eight SEO plugins beyond the big four and can be driven from WP-CLI.

The workflow around it asks more of you. Generation runs in the browser tab or on one long server request, so closing the tab ends a browser run. Its Google Sheets source is read only when you start a run. Hand edits need a checkbox per page to survive the next run. In our test it took 15 clicks, 6 screens and 7 required settings to queue the first page, and we needed the docs three times.

Pros

  • Conditional blocks and keyword modifiers in the template
  • Airtable and Notion as data sources
  • Wide builder and SEO plugin support
  • WP-CLI generation

Cons

  • No scheduled Google Sheets sync
  • Browser runs stop when the tab closes
  • No AI credits included
  • Longest setup in our test

Free version: yes, Page Generator on wordpress.org, with no page cap but typed keywords only, pages only and no spintax or conditionals. Looking for a Page Generator Pro alternative? Read the full LPagery vs Page Generator Pro comparison.

3. Multiple Pages Generator (MPG)

Multiple Pages Generator by Themeisle is the best fit for very large sets where nobody edits a single page. MPG creates no posts at all. It indexes your rows and renders a virtual page for each URL when someone opens it, which is why it registered fifty thousand rows in about two seconds in our test. A template edit shows on every URL at once, and a removed row is a 404 on the next request.

The cost is that WordPress does not know the pages exist. They are missing from the Pages screen, the core sitemap and the REST API, there is nothing to edit by hand, and the pages disappear when the plugin is deactivated. MPG has conditional content with eleven operators and wires seven SEO plugins directly, but we found no AI feature in version 4.2.1.

Pros

  • Tens of thousands of URLs live seconds after upload
  • Conditional content per block or per Elementor widget
  • Removed rows disappear automatically
  • Polylang and TranslatePress support

Cons

  • Virtual pages you cannot edit one by one
  • Pages disappear when the plugin is removed
  • No AI feature found
  • Free pages carry a Generated by MPG badge

Free version: yes, advertised as one project and 50 rows. Scheduled sync and Live mode need Pro. If you want a Multiple Pages Generator alternative with real pages, read LPagery vs Multiple Pages Generator.

4. PageForge

PageForge is the best pick when an AI assistant is part of how you run the site. It is the newest plugin here, first published in February 2026, and its headline feature is an MCP server with 24 tools that lets ChatGPT or Claude list templates and pages, audit SEO fields and preview a generation. It also writes its own JSON-LD schema, has a preflight validator and can release a set number of pages per day.

PageForge writes a page once. A corrected row either bounces as a duplicate or creates a second page, a template edit stays on the template, and a deleted row leaves its page live. Data comes in as CSV only, and Google Sheets is limited to the Professional and Enterprise tiers. We found no spintax or conditional placeholders.

Pros

  • MCP server for ChatGPT and Claude
  • JSON-LD schema and meta tags without an SEO plugin
  • Drip publishing a few pages per day
  • Use your own AI key, including a self-hosted endpoint

Cons

  • Changed rows do not update their pages
  • CSV only, no XLSX
  • Google Sheets only on the higher tiers
  • No spintax or conditionals found

Free version: yes, on wordpress.org, capped at 100 rows per run in instant mode. If you want a PageForge alternative that keeps pages in step with your data, read LPagery vs PageForge.

5. Magic Page Plugin

Magic Page Plugin is the best choice when every page is a location page and distance matters. It builds nearby-town lists ordered by distance, location sets, conditional blocks per region and weighted random blocks, and it outputs LocalBusiness schema and geo meta tags per location. Pages are virtual and served from one master page, so a design change lands on every URL the moment you save.

It works from one master page and one URL pattern per site, a fixed location schema and a browser-driven import. We found no Google Sheets input and no AI feature in version 7.2, and its SEO integrations cover Yoast SEO and All in One SEO only. There is no free version and no wordpress.org listing; the plugin does nothing until a licence key is accepted.

Pros

  • Nearby-town lists ordered by distance
  • LocalBusiness schema and geo tags per location
  • Conditional and weighted random blocks
  • Drip release over days

Cons

  • One master page per site
  • No Google Sheets input
  • No free version
  • Yoast SEO and All in One SEO only

Free version: no. For a side by side view, read LPagery vs Magic Page Plugin.

Also considered

Bulk Page Creator was on this list in 2024. It has ten thousand installs but no update since 2022, and it creates pages from a list of titles without data rows, so it no longer fits. Mass Pages/Posts Creator, Bulk Page Stub Creator and Bulk Page Duplicator work the same way.

Super Programmatic SEO uses the name, but it is an AI article writer: it writes posts from a topic or keyword, with 10 articles a month on a free Groq key. It does not create one page per spreadsheet row. Generic importers such as WP All Import create posts from a file but have no template with placeholders.

Which mass page generator should you choose?

Choose LPagery if your data is a spreadsheet or Google Sheet that changes, you want to reuse a page you already built, and you want real pages you can edit and keep. Choose Page Generator Pro if your template needs conditional blocks or every city and service pair from two short lists. Choose MPG if you publish tens of thousands of URLs and nobody will touch a single page. Choose PageForge if you want ChatGPT or Claude to work on the site through MCP. Choose Magic Page Plugin if every page is a location page and you want nearby towns ordered by distance.

If you are new to the idea, our guide to programmatic SEO in WordPress covers the planning before you pick a plugin.

FAQ

What is the best programmatic SEO plugin for WordPress?

It depends on how your data changes. LPagery fits data that you keep editing in a spreadsheet or Google Sheet. Page Generator Pro and MPG fit templates that need conditional logic, and MPG fits very large sets of virtual pages.

Is there a free mass page generator for WordPress?

Yes. LPagery, Page Generator (the free version of Page Generator Pro), MPG and PageForge all have free versions on wordpress.org. LPagery's free plan caps a run at 100 pages, and PageForge's at 100 rows. Magic Page Plugin has no free version.

What is a good Page Generator Pro alternative?

LPagery is the closest alternative if you want scheduled Google Sheets sync, runs that finish without a browser tab open and AI credits for LPagery AI included. MPG is the alternative if you need conditional content and are fine with virtual pages.

Are generated pages bad for SEO?

Pages that only swap a city name tend to be thin. Each page needs content that is specific to its row, such as local details, prices or reviews, and a reason to exist. All five plugins let you add more columns for that.
